Welcome to HANDTASTIQUE. These terms and conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements concluded via our webshop. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Article 2 – Applicability

1. These terms and conditions apply to every offer from HANDTASTIQUE and to every distance agreement concluded between the company and the consumer.
2. By placing an order on the webshop, the buyer expressly agrees to these terms and conditions.

Article 3 – Nature of the products (Second-hand and Vintage)

1. All items offered via the webshop are second-hand and/or vintage items.
2. Because these are used items, normal wear and tear, signs of aging, and slight traces of use are inherent to the nature of the product.
3. The condition of each item is described as detailed as possible on the product page and illustrated with extensive photographic material. The photos are an express part of the product description.

Article 4 – Prices and Payment

1. All stated prices are in Euro (€) and include VAT (including any special margin scheme for second-hand goods) and exclude shipping costs, unless otherwise stated.
2. The buyer can pay for the order via the payment methods offered in the webshop's checkout process.
3. The order will only be processed and shipped after receipt of full payment.

Article 5 – Delivery and Shipping

1. HANDTASTIQUE observes the greatest possible care when receiving and executing orders.
2. The place of delivery is the address that the buyer has made known to the company.
3. The risk of damage and/or loss of products rests with the company until the moment of delivery to the buyer or a pre-designated representative, unless otherwise expressly agreed.

Article 6 – Right of withdrawal (Return policy)

Consumers have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. You can find more information about this in our separate return policy.

Article 7 – Legal Guarantee on Second-hand Goods

1. Under Belgian consumer law, a legal guarantee period of 1 year from the date of delivery applies to second-hand goods.
2. This guarantee only applies to defects (non-conformity) that were already present at the time of delivery and are not the result of:

• Normal wear and tear and aging inherent to second-hand/vintage items;
• Incorrect use, neglect, improper maintenance, or careless handling by the buyer;
• External causes (such as water damage, stains, drop or impact damage after delivery).

1. Traces of use that are explicitly mentioned in the product description or were visible in the product photos at the time of purchase are not considered a defect or non-conformity.

Article 8 – Authenticity Guarantee

1. HANDTASTIQUE guarantees that all vintage bags offered are 100% authentic.
2. The items are carefully checked for authenticity before being included in the assortment.

Article 9 – Complaints procedure and Disputes

1. Complaints regarding the execution of the agreement or defects must be submitted fully and clearly described via info@handtastique.be within a reasonable time after the buyer has discovered them.
2. All agreements between the company and the buyer are governed exclusively by Belgian law.
3. In the event of disputes, only the competent courts of the district where the company has its registered office have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the protection consumers enjoy under the mandatory law of their place of residence.
